Terms of Service

Welcome to VEVEMedia. By creating an account, applying for one, or using any part of our website and tools, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK) to use VEVEMedia.
• You must provide accurate information when applying for an account or registering.
• One account per person. Sharing credentials is prohibited.

2. The Service

VEVEMedia provides web-based tools to design images and short videos using background media from third-party libraries (Pexels, Pixabay, Jamendo, etc.), along with optional integrations to publish that content to platforms like Pinterest. The service is provided "as-is" — we may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Account Application & Approval

VEVEMedia is invite-only. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. We may approve, reject, or revoke any application at our sole discretion. Rejection reasons may include but are not limited to: incomplete information, suspicion of bot/spam behavior, prior violation of these Terms, or policy mismatch.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use VEVEMedia to:

• Generate or share content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or violates anyone's rights.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Spam, scrape, or auto-mass-post in ways that violate target platforms' rules (e.g., Pinterest Community Guidelines).
• Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, gallery quotas, or any other technical control.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform.
• Run automated tools, bots, or scrapers against the site without prior written permission.
• Upload viruses, malware, or any code intended to harm the service or other users.
• Use the service to compete with VEVEMedia or build a substantially similar product.

5. Your Content

• Ownership: You retain ownership of the original creative input you provide (text, layout choices, your own uploads if any).
• License to us: You grant VEVEMedia a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, render, and process your content solely to provide the service to you.
• Third-party media: Background images, videos, and music sourced from Pexels, Pixabay, Jamendo, etc. are licensed under those providers' terms — you must comply with attribution and use restrictions where applicable.
• Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for the legality of the content you create and where you post it.

6. Third-Party Integrations (Pinterest, etc.)

When you connect a third-party account, you authorize VEVEMedia to perform the actions you request (e.g. publishing a Pin) using OAuth tokens that you control. You also agree to comply with that platform's own terms:

• Pinterest Community Guidelines
• Each provider's rate limits and content policies

Disconnecting a linked account from your dashboard revokes our access token immediately. We are not responsible for actions taken on a third-party platform after a token has been issued at your request.

7. Fees & Free Tier

Currently the core editor is free for approved users, subject to fair-use limits (gallery cap, render concurrency, daily generation count). We may introduce paid tiers in the future — existing free-tier capabilities will be honored at sign-up levels for at least 30 days after any pricing change.

8. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard or by emailing us.
• We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of these Terms, fraudulent behavior, or risk to other users or the platform.
• Upon termination, access ceases immediately and your data is removed per the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will achieve any particular result on third-party platforms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VEVEMedia and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or USD $50 if you paid nothing).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VEVEMedia harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VEVEMedia is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless local consumer-protection laws require otherwise.
